Life Happens to the Extent you Believe it Will.
Hi my friend,
Okay, let's do a quick exercise (mental exercise, not burpees lol).
Think of someone you know who seems like they are always having things good happen to them.
Like, it seems like they are a magnet for new opportunities, successes, or good things coming their way.
I know some people like that in my life...
Now here's the thing... we can't prove it (I suppose you could ask them) but what if good things happen in their life because they believe they will happen?
And what if we could cultivate that same belief and more of those good things in our own lives?
The Power of Belief
This weekend, my husband, Chad, and I met up with some friends near Glacier National Park in Montana (one of my fav places on earth).
Like What!
It looked fake!
This summer, we've traveled the entire PCH up the west coast, driven through Canada to Alaska, spent 6 weeks in Alaska, and traveled back through Jasper and Banff to Montana and had been feeling a little disappointed in the wildlife we'd seen.
Particularly, we hadn't seen a grizzly bear, mountain goats, or a moose up close.
We were gearing up for a hike in Glacier NP when one of our friends asked, "Do you think we should bring our bear spray on this hike?"
"We'll bring it, but we won't need it because I doubt we'll see anything.", we responded.
That, my friends, is a lack of belief.
On the other hand, we have a friend, Curtis, who was full of belief. He felt so confident we were going to see animals and he was literally speaking it into existence.
"We are going to see a bear today."
"We are going to see a moose."
The crew!
On our way to the hike, we saw some big horn sheep, elk, and a black bear. Amazing start to the day.
Then, about 4 miles into our hike, we came upon a large group of people huddled on the trail looking into the valley about 150 yards away.
That's the definition of a "bear jam" folks.
Sure enough, look who was prowling around just below us.
Hi Bear!
We got to the top of the hike and once we started coming down, Curtis said,
"I'm manifesting a moose and some mountain goats on our way down."
Yep, you guess it... we stumbled on some people pointing out a group of mountain goats on the mountain and a mile before our hike was over, we came across a group of people taking in a male, female, and a baby moose all in one area near the lake.
I can’t make this up.
Hiiii Mr. Moose!
Call it What You Want, I Call it Manifestation
There's a quote that I love: "You don't get what you ask for. You get what you truly believe in."
Did Curtis have the power to bring these animals near the trail and into our view? I'll leave you to interpret that however you want.
But he had a strong belief when no one else did.
What if that belief had the power to bring our attention to the things we were seeking?
Or what if that belief had the power to act as a magnet and attract the things we were searching for?
What if his belief actually affected the experiences of that day?
I call that the power of manifestation.
Here are 3 things to think about to attract more of what you want into your life:
Have you clearly defined what you are searching for in life?
Do you maintain a strong belief that what you are searching for is possible?
Have you communicated what you are searching for to put it out there and into the universe?
What's the worst that could happen? Maybe the thing you are searching for doesn't find you (yet).
But what if it does? And what if it happens because you had a belief and manifested it into existence?
That'd be pretty cool, just saying. 😎
My most recent manifestation experience was when I wrote five lines in a notebook to fill with future students in my Meditation Teacher Training in the latest round of my training.
It's one thing to write the space, but another to believe. This time, I focused on truly believing it was going to happen. Speaking it into existence.
This week, I started Module 1 on the history of meditation with 6 new students. 🥹
So, I encourage you to give this whole manifestation a try this week.
If you need a little help, I have a Manifestation Meditation already on my podcast, the Inward Journey.
Sending love this week,
Eileen Rose
