This might be why meditation feels hard.

Hi my friend,

I feel it too—

The resistance.
The restlessness.
The mind that won’t stop swirling.
The urgency to get it over with and move on.
The wandering thoughts pulling you out of the moment.

Meditation feels hard sometimes!

Here’s the most powerful tip I can offer to soften it all:

Let go of expectations. Let yourself simply be.

Did you know? Meditation isn’t meant to make you feel calm right away.
That expectation—that it should feel good, peaceful, or easy—is often where the resistance comes from.

When we sit down and feel anything but calm, we assume we’re doing it wrong.

We start judging ourselves, trying to force it, or we give up altogether.

But here’s the truth:

Meditation isn’t about feeling good. It’s about getting good at feeling.

Read that again. Really let it land.

This practice invites you to be with yourself exactly as you are.
To meet the discomfort, the chaos, the noise—with presence instead of pressure to be different.

So today,
Let go of the expectations.
Let go of the self-judgment.
And let yourself be—fully, freely, unapologetically.

That’s it. That’s the practice.

How does that land for you?
I’d love to hear.

Just hit reply and let me know (yes, I read and respond to every message, it means so much to hear from you!)
